5th Trip out 10-11-08
Not much wind, what a beautiful day, as we get ready to head out of dock..
At last Frank and I get to go out, it has been a short sailing season, where did the summer go?

Well we headed out and the motor started over heating as the water inlets were clogged with nasty coral stuff. Frank worked on cleaning them out when we returned to the dock and I held the motor up for him. We finally got it to have some flow and headed out, then we set the sails and the jib hung up and Frank went out to the bow to free it up.
Frank was out there for a while, probably figuring he could have had a better time at home..
Finally all was good but there wasn't much wind and it wasn't blowing in a nice direction. I told Frank we would sail until we hit bottom then turn. He thought I was bold, at least that is what he said, he may have been thinking something else.
Some others were starting to come out.
Now Frank was enjoying himself and glad he came out. We sailed up and down the shore line seeing things I hadn't before.
You have seen this party boat in dock, which docks right by us, this was the first we saw it out at sea. We enjoyed the wonderful weather and a great day was forecast for tomorrow so instead of getting the boat ready to come out of the water after this sail I decided I would come back tomorrow for one last sail this season. We sailed into the harbor and only took down the sails and started the motor real close to the dock space.
