17th Trip out 10-21-07
We sure have a nice bunch of sailboats in dock by us .

Heading out to sea, what a beautiful day, not much wind plenty of sun .
The sun is so low in the sky already but I am heading out later than usual.
It's like God sent down a ray of light to make this scene for me, it was breath taking.
Others are having a good day too. I wonder if this will be their last day out for the season also. This Friday weather permitting, it is supposed to rain, the boat is being pulled out and brought home. I made room for the big guy in the back yard and hope it will fit through and into the yard and into the space I made. The two little old boats will be jealous as the new big guy takes their place under the canopy and they will have to rough it outside with no cover other than their tarp this winter.
Well it has been a great sailing year. 17 trips out, I can't believe it. Next year I hope to have the boat in around Memorial day with many improvements on it that I install while it is in the back yard. I hope to have the anchor installed hanging from the bow, coiling its rope below deck. I am going to build a boarding plank to make it easier for people to get on board (Or to walk the plank if we are at sea). I will change out the two way radio, maybe install a shore power setup. I feel like Bose speakers will find their way on board somehow. Who knows what else.
Well thanks to all who came out to enjoy the fun. Special thanks to Frank for all your help in getting us going and becoming our new friend. I hope to make many memorable trips next year and plan on sailing to Watch Hill, Davis Park, Point of Woods, Atlantique and other places lets make it happen!
