Well I certainly left in the boat long enough this season. That is ICE on the dock, it was real cold and real slippery.

I nearly slipped ont he dock but when I stepped on board the boat that was crazy, the deck had a sheet of ice on it and I was lucky I didn't fall into the sea.

There is good old Rock N' Roll !

There I am dressed for the cold, but as it turned out it was absolutely beautiful out with no wind what so ever. I was glad I had the left the sails at home as they would have done no good today. Guess who is out?

There he is, Frank is out to help me bring the boat to the haulers to pull the boat out and bring it home.

No wind at all, it looks like a lake.

I headed out at a throttle speed and we glided across the water. The ice had melted off the deck and it was warming up.

I got some good pictures of Frank, here is one with the Captree bridge in the background.

There is a close up of Frank, enjoying him self out. We both hoped that next year we will get out more.

I sailed close to shore and we looked over at the american flag at dock hanging straight down with no wind on it at all. We saw the boat handlers busy so we passed by and explored their canal to the end. Frank was worried I wouldn't have room to turn around at the end but we turned on a dime coming close to getting the mast caught in a tree over hanging the canal that Frank called my attention to. Well it was a nice end to the season and the boat is home in the driveway now. I wonder what next years boating season will bring. I hope to have the boat in early, have Nancy out again, do a sleep over somewhere, have a lot of mates out and go where I haven't gone before!
