4th Trip out 9-20-08
Not much wind and it is from the south east, not good for sailing to anywhere I want to go. What a beautiful day though.
The marina looks like everyone has their boats in the water still but nobody is out in them.
I see the Progressive boat is still sitting there, I am wondering if they remember they own it?
I am just so happy I remembered the camera and memory card this time, I am taking pictures of everything.
This is a different shot. With this camera I found I couldn't see the display to see what I was shooting in the bright sun. I decided why try to look and held the camera down by the water at the stern of the boat
Well I am almost out of the harbor, open sea here I come!
Out to sea and not another boat not even a ferry! After labor day the boating season really drops off for most people.
I forgot to tell you who was out with me. You guessed it is just me, I tied off the tiller, hey let it sail itself.
If others were out I would have had a little more time on the bow to make the lines (Sheets) a little neater but they did the job. I have gotten much better and quicker at getting the sails up and down.

This camera has a 10X zoom, wow I can see the shore really good but even with not much wind the rocking n' rolling of the boat blurs the picture when zoomed out I see.
I held the camera a little steadier I guess as I zoomed out for this picture. I took some more shots but nothing too interesting so this is it for this trip. I guess the season will be ending soon, seems like I just made it out.
