16th Trip out 9-22-07
Some people heading in already, I am heading out by myself for a quick sail, little did I know how quick it would be....... .

An important note for the captains Log, bring another pair of eye glasses with you!!!! I put the sails up was ready to go an oops the glasses went over board! I am blind without my glasses. It was tense sailing in without seeing. Luckily I had an old pair of glasses in the car so I could drive home. Glad this happened close to shore, I could have been lost at sea. One bounce on the deck and over they went. I thought I saw them floating but couldn't see them to go after them as I sailed only a few feet away. I am not going to have many more nice weather days like this for the season, too bad I messed this one up. I carry that back head strap for the glasses so they won't fall off in my duffle bag, maybe I should wear it, you think? Maybe I should put that life jacket on in the bad weather too? It makes you think.
