12th Trip out 9-2-07
Nobody in the cabin. Yep the captain took the boat out all alone again. I was on a mission!
The weather was great but there was no wind. I had hoped to meet friends at fire island but the little wind
there was wasn't in the right direction !!
There were boats everywhere, people were screaming and having a great time .
Speed boats were everywhere, jet skiers. people with kite surfers, everyone was here. It was the last big summer weekend and no one wanted to miss the fun....
There were so many boats I only did a sail by and didn't try to find a place to stop as I would have had to swim in a mile . .
I headed for home, another three hour plus task but well worth it. . .
I had thought once of jumping over board and cleaning the sides of the boat but what if the boat sailed away from me? It would have been like going on a space walk and losing your ship I thought. It was a great day and I knew I would be back tomorrow for more so I called it a day and headed in..
